Container: Plain red-top or gold serum gel tube
Acceptable: Plasma (heparinized)
Container/tube: Lt green/mint top (lithium heparin) tube
Specimen Volume: 1.0 mL (minimum volume 0.25 mL)
Collection Instructions: Avoid hemolysis. Forward promptly.
Specimen Stability
Refrigerated: 24 hours
Frozen (< -20C): > 24 hours
