Acceptable Specimen: First Catch Urine, Vaginal, Endocervical, Rectal, or Pharyngeal Swab

 

General Specimen Collection and Handling:

  • Vaginal/Endocervical Swab, Rectal Swab or Pharyngeal Swab
    • Specimen must be collected using the Xpert Swab Specimen Collection Kit Instructions
  • First Catch Urine Sample
    • Xpert Urine Collection Kit (preserved)
    • Sterile, screw capped urine container (no preservative)
