Test Code LAB149 C-Reactive Protein
Intended Use
Used to detect and quantify C-Reactive Protein in human plasma or serum. CRP is one of the most sensitive acute-phase reactants that may be increased in a broad range of conditions. Because the increase is non-specific, it cannot be interpreted without a complete clinical history, and even then only by comparison with previous values.
