Intended Use
The complete blood count, or CBC, is the fundamental analytical test that evaluates the three main cellular components: white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. The WBC differential, also a fundamental test, identifies and enumerates the percent and absolute number (% & #) of the white blood cells and nucleated red blood cells present in whole blood.
