Intended Use

Intended for the in vitro semi-quantitative measurement of IgG antibodies directed to La (SS-B) in human serum and plasma (Li-heparin, EDTA) as an aid in the clinical diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in conjunction with other laboratory and clinical findings.

Serum - Red Top-Plain Tube

Plasma - Light Green/Mint Top Lithium Heparin or Purple Top-EDTA

 

Minimum Specimen Volume:  0.5 mL

Specimen Stability

Ambient:  <8 hrs

Refrigerated (preferred): 2 weeks

Frozen: >2 weeks
