Intended Use
The chloride test system is intended for the quantitative measurement of the level of chloride in plasma, serum, urine (RCH/SPH ONLY) and body fluid (RCH ONLY). Chloride measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of electrolyte and metabolic disorders such as cysticfibrosis and diabetic acidosis.

Specimen Requirements
10 mL from a random urine collection in a screw-capped, sterile container. No preservative. Early-morning, clean-catch random urine collection is recommended. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.
