Container/Tube: Lt Green/Mint top (lithium heparin) tube
Acceptable: Serum
Container/Tube: Plain, red-top or gold, serum gel tube
Specimen: 1.0 mL (minimum volume 0.55 mL)
Collection Instructions: Forward promptly, Avoid grossly lipemic or hemolyzed samples.
Specimen Stability
Refrigerated (preferred): 7 days
Ambient: 8 hours
Frozen (< -20C): 1 year, no more than 3 thaw cycles
