Used in to aid in the diagnosis of Hepatitis B Virus. IgM isotype antibodies directed to HBcAg typically develop during an acute HBV infection and may decline to undetectable levels within 6 months.

Collection Instructions: Forward promptly.

Frozen (-20ºC): Aliquots are stable through 6 freeze/thaw cycles
