Container/tube: Light green/mint top (lithium heparin) tube
Acceptable Sample Type: Serum
Container/tube: Plain, red-top or gold, serum or gel tube
Specimen Volume: 1.0 mL (minimum volume 0.55 mL)
Collection Instructions: Avoid hemolysis. Forward promptly.
Specimen Stability
Ambient: 8 hours
Refrigerated (preferred): 24 hours
Frozen (< -20C): >24 hours (thaw only once)
