Intended Use
Used as a screening for myoglobin in urine. The reagent strip test for blood is positive for both hemoglobin and myoglobin. If the reagent strip is positive, a confirmatory test for myoglobin must be sent to a referral lab for confirmation.

Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 72 hours of collection.
12 mL (minimum volume: 2 mL) from a random urine collection in a plastic urine container. No preservative. Send specimen refrigerated.
