Sample type: CSF or Cutaneous or mucocutaneous lesion swab

Cutaneous source: skin, genital-penis

Mucocutaneous source: anorectal, genital-vaginal/cervical, nasal, ocular, oral, urethral

Container: Swab in viral transport media (UVT, UTM, M4, M4RT, M5 or M6 transport media). CSF in sterile container.

Transport: Refrigerated, specimens are stable at refrigerator temperature up to 7 days.
