Specimen Requirements

Submit 2 mL to 3 mL of body fluid in a dark green-top (sodium heparin) tube or a screw-capped, sterile container. Do not expose specimen to room air. Maintain sterility and forward promptly at ambient temperature only.
Note:  Indicate specimen source on specimen container and request form.
