Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 1 hour of collection.

Submit 1 mL of gastric fluid in a screw-capped, sterile container. Send specimen at ambient temperature. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.

Note:  Indicate specimen source on specimen container and request form.
