Used to determine the severity of carbon monoxide poisoning in patients who have been exposed.

Required: Lithium heparin whole blood. Do not Spin.

Container/Tube: Light green/Mint top (lithium heparin) tube

Specimen Volume: 1 mL (minimum volume: 0.2 mL) of lithium heparin whole blood.

Room Temperature: 48 hours
Forward promptly.
